Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (2023)

Five nights at Freddy'sis a horror/resource management game series that has quickly become a massive multimedia phenomenon that most indie developers only dream of. with almosttwenty gamesfull of monstrous lists ofChuck And thatDesigned with robots controlled by the souls of murdered children, it's safe to say that some of the animatronic threats involved are more memorable than others.

No objective metrics set fordefinitely satisfy the internet, we've collected some numerous and ungodly creations that haveenthusiastic and frightened fanswhich we believe were left behind deeper, more traumatic and more...interesting, emotional scars. Now, while costume variants of the same animatronics can be considered separate entities per the series' chaotic lore,This article does not feature two versions of the same character..

TIED TOGETHER:VR horror games to play this Halloween

Updated February 7, 2022 by Cameron Roy Hall:Five Nights At Freddy's Security Breach was launched last December to an adoring fanbase who simultaneously fell in love with the new animatronics and demolished the game. Since it was released unfinished, complete with groundbreaking bugs and glitches (not the killer rabbit kind), it's hard to blamecommunity for your answers. Still, FNAF Security Breach undeniably brought a kind of charm and excitement to the series that made players want to explore its broken world. We've added our favorites from this new installment to this article, hoping to bring you even more delicious spirits. Spoilers ahead!

THE GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

15/15DJ Music Man is throwing a great party

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (1)

Five Nights At Freddy's Security Breach provides no in-game logical reason for DJ Music Man to be the size of a small house or for him having six lanky, arachnid-like limbs, as none of these traits increase his disc-making ability. . But it is, and it is, and it's terrifying in a way only a cartoon kaiju can be, no matter what his cheesy piano grin might suggest.

Add to that the smallness of Music Man's experimental experience.Gorilla-Modus, the use of which the designer claims will void the buyer's warranty, so worry. When enabled, DJ Music Man will attempt to "eliminate" intruders. Combine your man-sized gripping hands and your penchant for sneaking up walls and you have what we like to call oneProblem.

14/15Map Bot is the ultimate jump scare

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (2)

Security Breach features an expansive, semi-open world where sociopathic child/player character Gregory (see below) explores every inch of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, a massive restaurant/mall/park/murder-fortress. The labyrinthine corridors are easy to get lost in and this is where Map Bot comes into play. This deadpan friend refuses to let you into certain areas without a trustworthy map.

The only problem is that Map Bot...overzealous. It appears out of nowhere, faster than it should be able to and without warning. Honestly, we're thankful it's non-violent, otherwise Security Breach would be impossible to defeat.

13/15Shattered Monty doesn't need legs. Or hands.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (3)
(Video) Top 10 Scariest FNAF Fan Animatronics Of ALL TIME

Montgomery Gator replaces Bonnie as one of the four core animatronics in Security Breach. "Replace" is a friendly word considering the game heavily implies that Monty, who has serious anger issues, murdered the big blue rabbit entirely. He's a hulking figure with disconcerting power for a robot whose primary functions are playing guitar and mini-golf.

Unfortunately, however, that power wasn't enough to stop Gregory from crushing him under a broken snap and stealing his hands. While this journey severed her spinal cord around the waist, it did not hurt her spirit. After the attack, Monty drags his decomposing body across the ground like one of Cid's experiments in the first Toy Story film, with all the ferocity of a real alligator and all the vengeful fury of someone who has finally put their karma to the test.

12/15The destroyed Roxy is clearly more traumatized than you

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (4)

Roxanne Wolf joins the core group of animatronics in Security Breach, taking the place that Foxy normally holds. Though flawless, Roxy has the stereotypical bad-girl personality who is truly self-aware of every facet of herself. She spends the first half of the game giving her mirror image forced words of encouragement and berating the player with demeaning insults. The poor wolf clearly has unresolved problems.

Later, Gregory runs her over with a go-kart and steals her eyes while she's pinned down. At this point, with streams of oil pouring from his mutilated face, he understandably suffers a complete nervous breakdown. For the rest of the game, she blindly pursues you, using her remaining moments and senses to finish off yours. To be fair, you deserve it.

15/11Endoskeleton treasure plays deadly red light green light

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (5)

Almost every other animatronic in the series is secretly a costumed endoskeleton, so it should come as no surprise that some of them choose to walk around in their haunting robotic birthday outfits. Security Breach features an entire warehouse level where Gregory has to navigate around fifty of these C3P0 clones, which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't insist on playing by the Weeping Angel rules.

As long as you shine your flashlight on them, or keep them in your field of view, they remain immobile... but as soon as you shift your attention elsewhere, the endoskeletons move with frightening speed. always to you Always.

15.10Foxy is nimble, Foxy is terribly fast

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (6)

Foxy the pirate fox is the only "Gen 1" animatronic to appear on this list, and with good reason. The main concept of FNAF forces the player into a stationary position while scrolling through the security cameras to play a twisted game of Where's Waldo with killer robots? Foxy looking like an outcast on his ownDigimonDesign, he immediately turns heads in the worst possible way, forgoing the more leisurely pace of his peers.

(Video) FNAF's Scariest Animatronics and here's why... (Top Scary Five Nights at Freddy's)

The red demon blurrun towards the player, demands an almost immediate response, in a split second. While this is literally the scariest aspect of the first game, it admittedly gets a bit silly once the initial shock wears off.

15.9Toy Chica didn't need the help of the internet...

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (7)

Toy Chica is the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 variant of the original character. Unlike its previous questionably furry form, this version is made of shiny metal and plastic that glows like an insect's shell. She wears hideously designed "clothes" and carries an evil sentient cupcake.

Also, he sometimes loses his beak Daffy Duck style. For that final detail, Toy Chica makes the cut as she smiles at the player in a cruel approximation of a human smile, complete with human teeth that just can't be invisible or unfamiliar.

8/15Swamp Balloon Boy ist malvado Baby Groot

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (8)

Also a forerunner of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Balloon Boy reminds of a very different Chuckie than the rest of his compatriots. Though her bright, expressionless eyes tend to triggerflightsource fromfight or flightHis outfit suggests that he is a harmless NPCBioschock. It wasn't until FNAF: AR introduced a new variant for the small BB that things got really worrying.

RELATED: FNAF:Security Breach: Things You Should Know Before Playing

Swamp Balloon Boy literally loses his eyes and gets an empty mouth that splits his head like a jagged seam. It's also hard to ignore that every inch of his robotic skin, clothing, and accessories is now made out of twisted, gnarled tree bark.

15.7Shadow Bonnie uses a very specific and very common fear

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (9)

Bonnie the Blue Bunny is possibly the most huggable animatronic in the series (if you ignoreeverything elseabout him). Even in his Nightmare and Withered forms, he looks like an angry stuffed sock! With that said, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 introduced the world to Shadow Bonnie, and suddenly sleeping wasn't an option.

Shadow Bonnie appears as an inky silhouette that even Bendy would be jealous of, with no details other than her glowing eyes and white teeth...uff.

15.06Yenndo proves Scott is watching Attack On Titan

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (10)

Somewhere in the middle, the FNAF designs started to show what's underneath the shell, underneath all the skin, metal, and costume pieces. While the interiors were classified as endoskeletal from the start, Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location really allowed us to experience these particular atrocities in their entirety.

Take Yenndo for example. Yenndo is a version of Freddy with no fur and no suit, except that "underneath" is grotesque metal tubular muscles. His first appearance is also a random, minor chance encounter, which adds to the suspense.

5/15Freddles is coming with friends. Many friends.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (11)

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 asked a very real question: "Would Freddy Fazzbear be scarier if he were smaller and even if there were a lot of him?" The response was and is overwhelmingAnd. Often coming in flapping groups with piranha mouths, Freddles exude the same nightmarish energy that achieved Scrappy-Doo in the 2002 James Gunn film.

These deadly pop funko dolls bring out Shadow Bonnie with glowing white glowing eyes that pierce the darkness, which is almost a blessing in disguise considering they're in a game that's mostly played in the dark.

15.4Bidybab will show that kids are the worst

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (12)

If you're one of those people who cringe every time someone calls a newborn baby "beautiful," then Bidybab is for you.noto you. Also, if you're one of those people who gets a chilling dread every time a baby-form robot starts dishing out psychologically charged insults, then Bidybab is definitelynoto you.

TIED TOGETHER:The best horror games in which you are defenseless

This little monstrosity first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, where the player is forced to hide under their security table while keeping a flimsy closet door closed while Bidybab tries to force his way through it. The worst thing, aside from the constant taunting knock coming from a literal baby, are the soulless, glowing eyes that stare at you through the holes in the aforementioned closet door, which looks more like a piece of cardboard than anything else.

(Video) The Most TERRIFYING FNAF Video You've NEVER SEEN

3/15Circus Baby is the perfect storm of horror

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (13)

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location introduced the horror community to the Circus Baby, who isn't actually a baby and is only marginally associated with circuses. However, the seemingly inappropriate name only adds to the amalgamation of misery that is this animatronic. Just like Balloon Boy, Circus Baby is elegantly designed to look eerily cute. Like Bidybab, Circus Baby literally never shuts up.

TIED TOGETHER:

Oh, and just like Pennywise the Clown (here's the circus link), Circus Baby transforms more effectively.children eat. In the Circus Baby mini-game, the player can see how this last part works when amassive robotic clawHe leaps out of Circus Baby's abdomen and drags Elizabeth Afton inside, never to be seen alive again.

2/15The Puppet: FNAF's anti-hero Slenderman. Around.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (14)

The Puppet (aka The Marionette) is the closest thing to a "good guy," a term we use very loosely here. Between being terrified by an ominous musical death timer in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and whispering: "I am very awareWhen the player dies in Five Nights at Freddy's: Ultimate Custom Night, it's easy to forget that according to the story, The Puppet serves as the guardian of the murder victims, whose souls the animatronics control.tries to kill you.

Next to thepenal code of morality, The Puppet stands out as one of the few non-robot monsters in the entire series, and his emotionless mask looks like it came straight out of Majora's insane cast.

1/15Sundrop/Moondrop should not be left in the care of children

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Creepiest Animatronics (15)

An early level in Security Breach forces Gregory to explore a daycare center in the Pizzaplex. It has an awesome playground, a ball pit big enough to swim in, and animatronics that suffer from dissociative identity disorder. Sundrop/Moondrop (depending on when you talk to him, poor chap) is a feisty, if not downright spooky, character who goes a bit mad when the lights go down.

The worst part? Sundrop is apparently going through a lot of pain when the transition takes place. He's been seen screaming and clawing his face as he falls to the ground, only to get up again as a melted-eyed moondrop who has so much more...strictlyTake on the discipline of naughty children.
